7/20/09 Willow Run Stable, LLC and Caballos de los Cristiani held a two day Classical Equitation Clinic on July 18-19, 2009. The instructor, Sr. Juan Rubio Martinez, is a Professor, Senior Rider & Trainer at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art located in Jerez, Spain. With fifty riders and auditors in attendance each day the event was uniformly well received. The clinic was an unprecedented opportunity for every level of rider to learn first hand from Professor Martinez the meaning behind the Classical FEI precepts of preparing and training a dressage horse correctly. In addition to the individual rides under Professor Martinez's instruction, the enthusiastic attendees were treated to a short demonstration ride by Professor Martinez on each day followed by a question and answer period. Willow Run Stable, LLC offers a special thanks to Tina Veder and Bruno Gonzalez from Caballos de los Cristiani for making this event the premier classical equitation clinic of the season. |
